Country wedding at Clos du Prévert in the Vosges

Bohemian kinfolk terracotta theme

Marie and Cyril said yes to each other in the beautiful green setting of the
Clos du Prévert
in the Vosges. An intimate atmosphere for this charming little wedding. Marie is not a wedding planner, but she has all the talent of one. Together with Cyril, they designed this magnificent bohemian kinfolk terracotta-themed wedding down to the last detail. Each element has been conceived and designed in 100% DIY mode. The sweet and savory bar for the vin d’honneur was built by Cyril, furniture was salvaged to enhance the ceremony, and the scented candles embellished with flower petals and crystals were created by Marie.

The secular ceremony takes place in the shelter of a large draped tree, and an aisle of small hearts leads the way for the bride and groom to settle down on the rattan sofa. Rituals of purification follow, and guests are given virtuous stones to convey their wishes of happiness to the bride and groom. Witnesses in their long, flamboyant robes pass between the rows, armed with a sage stick and a koshi chime, to rid the assembly of negative energies. The decor is subtle and natural. A rock crystal geode will serve as a showcase for the wedding rings. For the meal, a mix of wood, eucalyptus and a touch of terracotta will dress up the room.

I am available in the Vosges and elsewhere to produce your wedding reportage.
