Autumn weddings in the Vosges: Automne Sauvage

The Vosges offers magnificent scenery, making it an ideal location for an autumn wedding. Mountains, lakes and forests are the perfect backdrops for celebrating your love for each other in the flamboyantly colored landscape. In the heart of the Gorges de Crosery, let yourself be carried away by the magic of autumn and enjoy an enchanted day, lulled by a fairytale autumn atmosphere.

For this “Wild Autumn” wedding-inspired shoot, nature takes center stage. The backdrop for the ceremony is set on one of the banks of the Gorges de Crosery, where the Moselotte river flows quietly between the moss-covered cliffs and fir trees of the majestic forest. A fern-covered arch, orange-hued armchairs, carpets and a few candles – it doesn’t take much to make the scene magical.

The beauty of nature at this time of year is incomparable. The leaves of the trees take on magnificent warm colors, from red to yellow to brown, and the ferns become flamboyant and golden. In fact, we’ve chosen fern as the main plant to enhance the bride and groom’s table and accompanying decorations. The bride and groom’s table was delicately decorated with plants and amber vases.

In our bride’s flamboyant hair, subtly highlighted, we find a brooch created by Edelweiss (Julie), our florist. She also designed the fox and owl masks to add a creative and original touch to the autumn atmosphere.

The simple, natural stationery was created in watercolor, and its natural, delicate touch is perfectly aligned with the natural spirit of our shoot.

Temperatures are still pleasant in autumn, neither too hot nor too cold, so you can still wear a dress, probably with a shawl. What’s more, autumn light is still soft and warm, making it perfect for couple photos.
