An exceptional wedding at the Abbaye des Prémontrés in Lorraine

It was at the very end of the Indian summer that Justine and Nicolas chose to join forces for life, in the heart of the
Abbaye des Prémontrés
Abbey in Lorraine. This dream wedding was prepared with the complicity of
Audrey Richard
a talented wedding planner, and
Manon Badermann
my twin videographer.

Early arrival at the Abbaye des Prémontrés, where the bride’s preparations are well underway. The care taken with her hair and make-up delicately illuminates Justine’s face, which I’m delighted to immortalize. In the next room, her mom and witnesses are busy putting on their pretty dresses. I sublimated the glass case containing the precious wedding rings by arranging cotton branches all around it. A symbol of commitment, they represent the ties that will be forged over the years. A solid wood door from the Abbey is transformed into a display case to magnify the bride’s dress. For Nicolas and his witnesses, the mood is celebratory. The men toast this new stage of life that the bride and groom are about to embark on. We chose a characteristic alveolus to hang Nicolas’ jacket and arrange his accessories.

Now it’s time for the bride and groom to reveal themselves, as they meet on the steps of the Abbaye des Prémontrés. The emotion is palpable. We capture these magical moments in various parts of the cloister, turning spiral staircases, gardens and corridors into dreamlike settings. The photos capture the complicity and elegance between Justine and Nicolas. It’s time for the bride and groom to introduce themselves to their guests. The meeting takes place in the Abbey garden, where beautiful memories are created with witnesses and close family. The secular ceremony, officiated by the bride and groom’s brothers, took place upstairs under a superb floral arch to match Justine’s bouquet. The group photos will then take place on the Abbey’s rear porch, so convenient for posing the many guests!

The indoor vin d’honneur provides a well-deserved break for the bride and groom, who can now enjoy the many delicacies prepared by the Abbaye des Prémontrés caterer. I take the opportunity to photograph the room, adorned in pastel and copper tones and lovingly decorated with flowers. The scenography is breathtaking, enhanced by Jérôme’s luminous rosettes (DJ SLS Events). Justine and Nicolas burst into the guest room with a fanfare and grace the crowd with a first dance. A farandole of delicious food, games and dancing will round off this unforgettable day. A magical wedding at the Abbaye des Prémontrés.
